FAQs
Is the service truly unlimited?
Yes and no. While there is no strict limit, allow one request is allowed at a time. Additionally, 250-page limits may apply.Do I have to provide samples?
Not for California litigation documents. Can I provide samples to get work done in a particular format?
YesCan you draft non-litigation documents or litigation documents that are not for California?
We reserve the right to refuse, but we can try to accommodate these requests. Please note that we lack the expertise to to draft these types of documents so this would generally involve creating a document based on a sample you provide. These documents also may not be attorney reviewed. How is this better than hiring a legal assistant or paralegal?
1. Using this service means documents are reviewed by a California attorney before being sent to you.
2. Your employee expenses are decreased as there is no need for worker's compensation insurance, employment insurance, or tracking legal assistant's time. Although some attorneys pay assistants as independent contractors, this runs into substantial labor law risk. In California, a worker is considered an employee unless the employer satisfies a 3-part ABC test. See this link for more information. Typically a legal assistant will not pass the ABC test for a law firm.I am representing myself, can I use this service?
No, this service is offered only to licensed attorneys for their business use.
